4.10s = speeding ticket

I got my gears installed on Friday and finally tested car out and got bagged for 59 in a 40 today for $140 bucks - just my luck. The ticket is no problem but that surge charge is a killer - hopefully get this ticket dropped on the appeal.

4.10s are nice though and no regrets except for the ticket....

how did that happen?
if u do steeper gears and dont correct the tranny then u will be going slower than what ur speedo says. what did ur speedo say then? if u were coming from the 3.27s stock then u were probably damn near 80 mph....

What is a surge charge?

If you didn't fully research the mod ie. Speedcal or a Tuner to fix the speedometer thats to bad as the information is out there. If you were screwing around well sucks to be you.
