Default storing GT

I'm leaving my 1999 Gt to go on vacation for about 6 weeks and I'm trying to figure out whether just having someone start it every so often is enough or if it needs to be driven during that time. Any suggestions?

While I was deployed my wife just started mine about once a month and drove it around the block. Everything was fine when I came back.

When I was deployed my wife only started it a couple of times (she was affraid of it). Well I now have a new motor because of it. If you are running synthetic oil and not have anyone to start it then change it to dino oil .

Dude, I stored my car for 6 months over the winter. All I did was take the battery out. When I put it back in, it started right up. Don't waste your time with jackstands. I put my stock rims and tires on and when I drove it back home it felt fine.

Actually I did change my oil and stabilize my fuel...so you could do that. After you do those two things just park it. I wouldn't worry about the battery in the summer.

6 weeks is nothing. Maybe put a battery tender on it if you think the battery might drain or just disconnet it.
