Which Mustang?
Straight forward my budget is kind of limited and it has come down to what i can find in my area and that is either:
1999-around 2002 Mustang V6 OR
1996-1998 Mustang GT (Very few 99+ GT's in my range)
Just wondering what would be the best one to get for upgrading potential if i plan on doing normal daily driving, upgrading parts like exhaust, engine parts etc, super charger or turbo upgrade and maybe seeing the track a few times. Im leaning towards the 96-98 GT's.
Thanks

if i were you i would look for 94-98GT's, if you're low on money and want to make your car fast, go for the 94/95 GT, they have the 5.0 instead of 4.6 so therefore are cheaper and easier to mod. And everything cept the taillights look identical to 96-98GT
get a 6er.....lol poisnd u....
but no seriously if you are strapped for cash get the 94-95 5.0 version if you got a lil money get the 96-98 and do the P.I swap find some heads off of the new edges choice is yours....

I dunno if you guys have ever done it, but from what I have seen/heard the SN-95 cars are a little harder to play with than the foxbody 5.0s, the computer etc and lots of parts that don't bolt up (headers etc).
The NPI 96-98 cars are pretty slow bone stock, but if you can afford to buy a 1000~ dollar PI engine and drop it in yourself you have a fairly decent platform to mod for a cheap price. No matter how you slice it, going with a NPI car and putting a PI engine in it will be cheaper than just buying a PI car.
