ok so when i bought my car it already had a superchip in it i dont have the littlecontroler or anything but when i first got it the check engine light was never on but now it has been on for a couple days i got it hooked up to a comp and it said the rev limiter was breached im pretty sure thats normal for the chip but now the check engine light is off does that mean the superchip is off or not working so what im asking does the check engine light have to be on for the chip to be on?

I dont know if that makes any sense ha ha

 

superchips is garbage, unless you want a cheap quick tune on a diesel truck just to turn up the boost.
