When you installed your powerpipe, did you trim any of the radiator core support? I had trouble even getting the stock inlet tube in there. I may trim it myself just for the hell of it.

i'd recommend not using the bung location on the AFM pipe for you bypass, instead locate it as close to the blower inlet as possible and angled toward the blower to prevent MAF backwash
uhhh. . . what?
why would i get maf backwash its like 2 feet away

uhh lets see.

Intercooler 120 + 40 shipping = 160
piping kit 72+20 shipping = 92
Thats all for the actual intercooler setup.

no i never trimmed anything, just what i had already done to my fan for the original inlet tube. I just used the elbow that came on the blower cuz its the same size and it fits, the one they gave me dont. see look i got a couple pics, i'll get more soon

That powerpipe had three frickin holes in it.... why?!?!?!? i only needed two. so for now i got tape over the one and my bypass setup is only temp. it'll be changed tonight actually

That is awesome... Do you have a Diablo tuner or SCT? If you are still using Diablo prepare for problems... Im sure you already changed but i am just checking... And are you using the same tuner?

Nice, that pipe fits better than my stock plastic one. Another reason could be the size difference between the 1k and the 2k

edit: yep, the 2k is an inch bigger from front to back. Hah! That inch makes a huge difference.

double edit: you didn't even have to move your coolant tank over either. I'll take pics tomorrow of my set up.

The rest looks good though!!

Im using diablosport also without a problem. Actually its great IMO! Nice job fitting that 4" intercooler, I didnt think it would fit. Got my 24x12x3 intercooler for $99 through ebay and it seems to be very efficient! Always cold when I touch it and the speed shop tried to sell me the same kind for $400! Im waiting on a retune also! Let me know what #'s you put down!
