Hey Guys, I just want to inform you that Sept. 7-9 will be Fun Ford held at TX Motorplex in Ennis. I know it's over 2 mo. away, but I want a huge group to go. If you have never attended a Fun Ford event, you're missing out. Last year my buddies and I had a caravan of about 12 stangs that made the trip up I-35. This year, i'm trying to get at least 50-80 stangs to go from our area. Nothing looks sweeter than 50+ stangs headed up the interstate. So here is my plan, if you live anywhere in the area of Waco to Austin, and are interested in going, mark you calender for Sept 8 (sat). We will meet in the parking lot of Walmart on I-35 in Bellmead around 7-8:30am. Once we hit the highway, we have guys with cam corders who film the ride. I would highly recommend u start saving you cash because vendors will be there and you can get parts at a discounted price. Between the car show and the races, you will have a blast. Shoot me a pm if you're interested and try to keep bumping this to get the word out to all those who would be interested. Also, I was informed by code that on the 18th, they will also be racing there at Ennis. It's an opportunity to go out and run your cars if you feel like it. I remember this because last year, several LS1's were up there thinking the were hot sh*t. Guys Fun Ford Weekend is a blast, but if you can, get your cars there on the 18th of August as well to run them in the Summer Shakedown. I ran last year and I believe the entry fee is $10bucks.

Bellmead is on the way for you. just might be more of an inconvience for you to get up early enough to meet them there.
I wont make the cruise, since I-35 is out of the way for me, but plan on being there that weekend

01yellow I don't know about the Hotel situation. Last year, I only attended on Saturday because I couldn't get off for the weekend. This year, I'm off on Fri and Sat, but I knew it would be hard for everyone to get up there on a Friday since most of us have Jobs. On friday, they are doing primarily set ups, vendors etc... it's nice because you stillget to see thecars. If we can get enough people going, I can contact the hotels in the area and see if theycan giveus some kind ofdiscount. By far,Sat and Sun will be the best days to attend.

Sucks I'm NorthEast over in Texarkana. Maybe I'll get out these coming weekends and gather up a group or something. I know a few guys who did this a couple years ago.

Pumav106, you def need to come up that weekend. Between the races, the cars, the vendors and OH YEAH, the women! You will have a blast. Spread the word, Sept 7-9.
