Default Possibilities with 5k?

Well, I know there's a ton of posts asking what you can get for a certain amount of money...well it's my turn. I know 5k isn't that much, but it's a good start. I'll be getting 5k in a little less than a year, and I was wondering what would be the max horspepower potential with 5k availible? Also, if 5k isn't enough to get a nice amount of horsepower, what would be the minimum for say, 400 RWHP? So far, all I got is Spec Stage 2, and Typhoon (pos) intake, as far as performance.

Thanks =)

You could get yourself a used blower and then some bolt ons or suspension mods. That would be around 5k and depend on what you get 350-400rwhp.

Suspension being? Already have the stuff to lower it, so I'm assuming LCA/UPC's?

You could get a vortech or paxton mongoose kit and a diy intercooler and make 400hp or damn close. It'll be fun and reliable...well as reliable as 400hp can be.

Would it be smarter to get one of those S/C's, or that twin turbo kit they offer? Seems to me the numbers they show the turbo makes waaay more power, and it's only 6,200. (I could make that in a year, lol) The only thing I suppose could be an issue is the stock block handling the TT?

no your block couldnt handle a TT, youd be having diminishing return (spending so much on a power adder that wont use its potential) everyone else has right idea, MPH mongoose kit or centri. kit and use left over for dyno tune/suspension.
