There is no "best sound" everybody has their own opinion has to what sounds good. My advise is to listen to some cars IN REAL LIFE and base your decision on that. If you want your Flowmasters louder get an O/R midpipe. In my opinion what you got now sounds better than Borlas.

Like jaybird said, it's all going to come down to personal preferance.

If your running LT's already, then I'm assuming youre obviously on a shorty H pipe, and probably catted....

start off going with an o/r H pipe to see if you like that paired with the flowmasters.... if youre still not happy, then look into a different catback...

As for the aggressive borla catback or the 'stingers' as they are usually referred to, in many peoples opinions, they are one of the best in both terms of quality, and the exhaust note that it provides.

It's very loud, and for a straight through muffler, it maintains a deeper, and much more burbly idle note than some of the other straight thrus.

Upon acceleration, it obviously isnt going to have the traditional chambered growl, but instead, in my opinion, its more of a 'roaring' sound as the rpms climb....

I can post a sound clip or two if youre interested in hearing somewhat of how they sound.

Dont listen to these guys. Borla FTW[sm=icon_rock.gif] I got into an argument with my neighbor over how loud my car is last weekend. My response "wait till I get headers and get the exhaust leak fixed"

Denniz...if you ask people on here for opinions on exhaust everyone is going to tell you that whatever they have is the best. Listen to Jaybird and 72Machone...

+1.

I have Full bassani on my car. Its a great sound, rumble at idle, and a "im gonn aeat your face" scream up in the rpm's. been told many times that i have "one of the best sounding mustangs".

but then again, where i live, everyone and their brother uses flowmaster, so i just sound different....and better
