I would get a new one as they are all less than $200. MGW is great and a buttload of people are gonna say its the best. Its what I had on my 99 GT, but to tell you the truth I've driven a car with a tri-ax (steeda) and my cobra just got a pro 5.0 and they all feel about the same.

Pro-5.0. Make sure you get a gasket set though. I had an annoying sound after I installled it and it is gone now after the extra gaskets

here we come...

MGW FTW!!!

Shortest shift, and nowhere NEAR as notchy and rocky as the tri-ax or pro5.0. My uncle has a 99 Cobra with a tri-ax, and it feels like a metal pole stuck between a few rocks. It's not at all comfortable. My MGW is the best mod I bought for my daily driving. It helps alot in traffic and when you decide to gunn it when the traffic clears, lol.

Oh and w/e you get, make SURE you get CobraBob's shifter gasket. If you don't, you'll hate the mod from the noise and vibrations.

I disagree. I used the RTV supplied w/ the MGW kit and I have no noise or vibrations. Both work fine.
