Well figured out my problem and realised that my limited slip is slipping.... so time for some repairs... what posi would you guys recomend.... i was looking at the eaton31 splin at americanmuscle for like $449.they have the 28 splin at steeda..will my stock axles hold for awhile? planning on going nitrous..... and figure will i got the thing torn apart putting 4.10's in as well and new bearings. was going to order the nitrous now but need to fix this problem first..

 

i think if your using your stock axles you have to get a 28 spline.
31=new axles

 

YEA I KNOW BUT IM WONDERING IF MY STOCK AXLES WILL HOLD FOR AWHILE OR IF I SHOULD JUST UPGRADE NOW..... EVEN WITH THE NEW AXLES THE PRICES ARE PRETTY CLOSE BECAUSE OF THE DISCOUNT WITH AMERICAN MUSCLE
IT COSTS 1,087.49 FOR EATON 28 SPLINE 4.10'S AND SCT XCAL WITH NEW BEARING KIT
AND 1,280.72 WITH 31 SPLINE AND MOSIER AXLES. I FIGURE WELL ITS TAKEN APART JUST DO EVERYTHING SO I DONT HAVE TO MESS WITH IT AGAIN LOL? WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

 

Go 31's, that way you can run slicks and launch hard and not have to worry about your rear end grenading...im in the process of a 31 spline upgrade as we speak...
