SUPERCHARGER ???s
ok so ive been talkin to this guy back and forth about his paxton novi2000 he has for sale...its just the blower no install kit or anything and i can get it for about $700 shipped...i know of one place where i can get the kit to install it for $1500...anybody know of any other places that i can get the install kit for a novi for a 99-04??? i can also get the powerpipe, 42lb injectors, 90mm mass air, air filter, and x-cal for about 850 shipped so that puts me at about $3000 for all the stuff then i have to get it tuned (assuming i can install myself)...first of all what should it cost for a good tune, second does this sound like a reasonable deal (keep in mind everything is NEW)????

I want to say the focus fuel pump is $180... but that's really a shot in the dark.

If you're going to be doing it all yourself, go withoutan intercoolerfor a little while, and run low low boost. When you can save up another few hundred bucks, buy a universal intercooler kit from ebay, clock the blower in the right direction and plumb it up over a weekend, put a smaller pulley on, and get it re-tuned again.
I want to say the focus fuel pump is $180... but that's really a shot in the dark.

You can do a V2SQ brand new from MPH with all the trimmings (SVT pump, 42 lb/hr injectors, 90mm LMAF, etc etc) for around 3900 shipped. I don't see saving 100 bucks but buying a used blower being worth it.
I think you should shop around for the supporting parts for the blower, it seems to me like your paying way to much for the rest of the kit with the blower being 700 bucks.

If your going to end up paying 3000 for a used blower with a install kit and still have to pay for the fuel pump, and the tune, your not getting a deal. Your talking what, 200 or so for the SVT pump and another 400-600 for the custom tune... so your at 3800 bucks for a USED kit.
You can do a V2SQ brand new from MPH with all the trimmings (SVT pump, 42 lb/hr injectors, 90mm LMAF, etc etc) for around 3900 shipped. I don't see saving 100 bucks but buying a used blower being worth it.
I think you should shop around for the supporting parts for the blower, it seems to me like your paying way to much for the rest of the kit with the blower being 700 bucks.
