Ya, if that. I doubt there is honestly a way to exactly test it. There are so many variables.

my point was that he should be asking how to make his car faster and not how to improve its gas milage.

Do you guys with 260 mile per tank drive city/highway combine or just highway? There's no way I can get that many miles on city only. In city I get like 215 miles per tank. And yes I keep my foot off the gas.lol

I just went from a basically stock 3.8L to a 4.6L. I'm not looking for immediate power. After I pay off some debt, I'll start looking into headers, throttle bodies, heads, cams, etc. And when did I complain or ask how to improve gas mileage? I was wondering how much my exhaust and CAI really help. I was just curious how many miles I got on a tank of gas.

I get 25 mpg highway and 18-20 city. Mustangs are about having fun. Gas mileage is for socker moms and accountants. Like the guy in Robo Cop said. "I want something that goes really fast and gets really crappy gas mileage." Of course it wasn't quite that exact of a quote.

I fill up twice a week, I don't think I even bother paying attention to milage. Although I will admit I can tell I get better miliage with the carbacks removed and new exhaust put in but nothing to brag about. Of course driving at a low gear on purpose to annoy other drivers probably doesn't help gas either. hmm..oh well.

i get around 280ish, never had my check gauges light come on for it though so i'd say 280-300 miles
to the guys that always have the stupid comments about "you got a v8 what do you expect" THIS GETS OLD JUST IGNORE THE POST IF YOU'RE GOING TO SAY THE SAME THING EVERYTIME. no crap but it's still nice to find the optimum gas mileage for your car. i could give a **** lesss if it was a v12, i'd still like to get the best gas mileage from it i could.
