grille delete?
what is the easiest way to remove the bottom screws on the factory grille? also i bought the 2peice from stang mods and no screws came with so what do i use to hold the pony in place? so if this is a repost.
The easiest way to remove the bottom screws? lol Easy and those four F'ing screws don't go in the same sentence.
It may help to remove your headlights. There is no other way (Save for removing the bumper...which some have done, but screw that) than to bend the bumper cover out a little bit. Be careful not to crack the cover. I think I used an open ended wrench and just got at it. It took me and a buddy about 45 minutes to get those damned screws, but it was about 40 degrees at the time so that made it a little more difficult.
I, and many others, have not replaced the four screws to secure the bottom part of the delete. Its not going anywhere.
I put the new Pony on with the stock screws that held the old pony on. My pony can be moved a little bit, but isn't falling off either. Some haven't been able to do that for some reason, and have used self locking screws. It doesn't really matter, if you need to you can go to the hardware store and get whatever.
