Hit the wall!!!!!
well i was driving back from South Carolina to Massachusetts this morning and i was getting pretty sleepy. Next thing i know i woke up to the rumble strip so i jerked the wheel to the right. Too late. i felt the car hit the jersey barrier. i kept driving down the road for quite a while because i didnt want to see the damage. i couldnt bring myself to look. Finally i pulled into a rest area and got out. Much to my suprise i only hit my driver's side rear rim!!! No part of the body hit at all!! i got really lucky! My rim is destroyed though. It was grinded down a pretty decent amount. it just looks terrible! Anyways anybody got a 18x10 chrome saleen they're looking to get rid of????
Wow i know that really sucks, hey 200 or so bucks for a new rims rather than a couple hundred for paint, body panels, and labor. But sorry to hear that man, car is hurting right now to, missing a side skirt .
i did the same thing in my 86 Grand National...car was totalled, was looking to get somethign new anyways, sold it for parts and bought the stang!!! not as fast, but lots more fun IMO
