Default Advice needed...

So I pretty much have things down the way I want it to go. I am saving a bunch of cash and I'll have about 3k (free to spend) when I'm ready to dump into my stang. I have a '03 GT auto and my first tousand or so is going to a TCI Breakaway torque converter (~500 before install), a trans cooler (~70) and probably FRPP 4.10's (~250 before install). I say probably because if I ave to budget for more stuff, I'll get Motives. I already have an accufab tb/plenum combo, a JLT intake and have a Diablo predator II tuner. I understand I'll probably be spending just as muc in labor for these things as I will in the actual items, so I'd make a rough estimate that I'll have about 1500 left of purchasing power. I really want to get a Vortech Kit and put it on myself, and prolly some Borlas at the tail pipe. Any other things you all may suggest? Could a person of above average intelligence with little mechanical experience put together his/her own 'charger? I'm really not interested in dragging at the moment (legally anyway), and only shooting for 350 RW HP atm so beefing the engine, trans system and suspension isn't high on my list. 'Cept maybe to drop the ride an inch or so. What do yall think?

You'd be perfectly capable of installing your own blower... if you get it non-intercooled it's supidly simple. (You really should get an intercooler though) They come with pretty good instructions... I'm sure there's some stuff missing but you should be able to figure it out. It just takes time and PATIENCE.

I personally would say skip the set of bolt-ons you're going to be buying and just get the blower and go from there... buying anything short of a blower or nitrousfor power is pointless, very poor hp/$ return.
