I own a real Saleen SC. I only paid 16K for mine, with 21K miles. I was fortunate the dealership doesn't know much about Mustangs or Saleens it was a trade-in. I got the GT bluebook price. Anyway all Real Saleens should have a badge in the engine compartment, by the shifter, guages, all parts of the body kit will have Saleen marked somewhere usually in places where you can only see it if you remove the kit, All racecraft suspension to include either bilstien shocks/struts or Saleen N20s, Saleen swaybar and of cours wheels. Depending on the package & year they may still have the GT style hood with or without hood scoop. A non SC model does exist and should retail around 35,000 new, an SC can range between 44-49K. The vin number will only report that it's either a GT or GT/Bullit. You can contact Saleen and verify the vin with them if you want to be completely sure. Either way I think 39K is way too much for a S281...in my case I just plain got lucky and it's about damn time.

 

i completly forgot that he paid 39K for that.....WTF!!??!?!....was your friend under the influence of anything at the time??? i wouldnt pay half that for that car......

i have a faleen and all the parts had saleen written on them, they say that there athentic

 

i did say that....but i guess he got a supercharger.....he said he was.....but i didnt know if he got it....but n*e ways, these are pics from his myspace.....

 

id ont think he was....and that was a funny post.....but i guess rumor has it now (only the people that don't believe him) say its a GT mustang with a Saleen head...is that possible? im sure that might make it add up to somwhere in the 30's plus bodykit...sc...lambo doors...and other excesories....so it is a Faleen...

 

ehh even fully loaded most of the time you dont get half what you put into a car....39k is a rip IMO
