What mods should I do next ?????
OK, I have a 96 gt that I bought about a month ago and as far as I know , everything is stock except for what I got installed already...
JLT CAI
UD Pulleys
New belt tensioner pulley
5.0 short throw shifter
Exhaust sounds good but not sure what it is and I know it has cats. Not sure if I want to go with an o/r H pipe or not because I can't afford a fine if I would happen to get busted...
So what do you all think....
Gears are stock I think but not sure , my guess they are stock. New Gears would run about $600 installed and are on my list already.

I know in Texas..... Cops will pull you over to complement you on the nice sounding exhuast! lol. But nah, it all depends on how you drive. With an o/r H-Pipe and Flows, its deep and not stupidly loud. As long as you don't go LT, O/R X or H, and SLP1s, you should be fine. Just get someone to pass you for emissions and give you the sticker...
Where in PA do you live? If you live closer or in Philadelphia, I know they are kinda **** about it but the ricers in that city run O/R mid pipes all day. If it concerns you that bad, get yourself an X-Pipe with Hi-Flow cats. Bassani sells a good "Modular" x-pipe where you can quickly swap between Cats and No Cats.
If you have Long Tubes, its easy to swap out the mid pipes. I have an extra set of catted Mid-Pipes for the once a year swap to do inspections.
