i would have to agree i think the biggest reason is because of the weight difference

The race shouldn't really even be that close, especially from a roll.
If the 5.0 is a stick, there is no reason it won't keep up for the first gear and a half or so, but after that, the 40ish hp difference really starts to show its colors..

Don't the 94-95 5.0's go something in the 14.9-low 15 range?... it doesnt matter though, the fact that from the 93, to the 94, they didnt get any power gains, but still went into a heavier body makes them dogs *but only in stock form*

Once mods are thrown into the equation *especially more than bolt on mods that is* it could get nasty really quick for us 4.6 guys.
