How long do shocks last..?

How long do thefactory shocks and struts usually last on ourcars? So far I'm on 55k and I hear no squeaks, the ride is still good and it'sstill pretty steady. I'm just curious.

You should be fine Iv never had mine changed and Im at 111000 miles. And thats on tucson roads which are probably the worst in the country.

Thanks for the feedback. At least I don't have to worry about them unless I fall into one of Chicago's infamous 3-foot deep potholes. [8D]
