If I were you I worry about getting what power you have to the ground. I'd get a 31spline axles, diff, gears (if you don't have them already), sfc, get the axles tubes and torque boxes welded and a set light weight wheels and a set of really sticky tires (not nittos). That should get you in the mid to low 13 second range, which doesn't sound like much but it's 1.5 sec faster than you are now which could be as much as 15 car lengths.

Mike
i plan on most of that stuff in the future but right now im really only bugdeted for the gears and a new posi.....then i can still afford a used blower set up...after that i can save up for everything that i need to get it to the ground such as the stuff you mentioned + UCAs/LCAs, shocks/struts, etc etc.....
the bad thing is until you get it to the ground your not going to run as well as you should. Hell the blower make make your 60's worse. If you plan on drag racing the car and are doing the posi now, upgrade to the 31 spline and do the axles to, now is the time to do it. If you plan on sticking with 28's and eventually going to sticky tires and a blower you can kiss your rear end goodbye (literally) and you'll be doing it all over again, spending more than if you would have upgraded to begin with.
how much power do you think the stock 28s will handle....im not going with slicks for a while (at least till the car has enough power to need it) if i just end up with some DRs will the stock 28s handle a decent launch?
