Default Draglite Back Spacing

15x8 Draglites wouldn't work for me if they have a 4.5 backspacing will they?

they will but they'll come flush with the fenders. You can tuck them in with 5.5" bs. I'll post up pics of my car with both in a minute.

if your car tends to squat you may have rubbing issues with the 4.5's

Dang, that looks good. My suspension is stock right now, but I've got Steeda Sport springs in the mail, should be here the middle of next week. I don't know how it'll squat then.

I may go ahead and buy these because they are cheap, but they might be too much tire for my car. It'll make my car look wayyy more badass than it really is. Its just the rears, I'd have to find some wheels/tires for the front later. Heres the actual wheels/tires:

The tires they have are 295/50. Those are pretty tall, huh?

Does anybody else have any info on rubbing issues I will have with these wheels/tires?

Will I have any other problems with that tall of a tire?

the 1st 3 pics were with a 27" tall tire and the last three are 28's. I have never rubbed and I launch pretty hard, but my car doesn't squat at all. My car also has a decent drop (1.5" in the rear, more up front)

Hmm...I guess those tires aren't as tall I thought. I may have to pull the trigger on these. Now if I can just convince the girlfriend to keep her from griping about it

Hey '01, what size tires were you running with the 4.5 inch backspacing?

The 295's that I got seem to stick out a LOT further than yours in the pics you posted. I'm debating now whether to put the wheels/tires on Ebay, try and trade for the correct backspacing, or just get some skinnier tires. I think I could handle flush with the wheel well, but these stick out probably a half to a full inch past.

I shoulda known better. I got impatient again.
