Default More power in GT

Im new to Mustangs and enjoy reading on thts site. My stang is stock and its a 2000 gt. It looks like the 2 v motor dosn't do well with simple bolt on mods. Is there anyting worth the money to install on our cars? I guess im looking at things like air intakes, pullies, and things like that. Just dont want to spend thousands. It is a daily driver , just lookoing for a little more pep. Sometimes i wounder maybe i should just save my money and get a mild supercharger? [sm=smiley29.gif]

+1 on saving for a supercharger that'd be sweet but the gains on boltons aren't that bad...

Full boltons plus cams and gears will give you all the pep you need. Your gonna spend a little more in boltons then you would just putting a blower on, but its all preference. I like all motor so thats the route I went, and 290hp at the wheels is plenty for me...

For what you want, I say just bolt ons. Do everything 03greyGT has in his sig and you'll be golden. It's kind of a waste to mildly tune a supercharger, in my opinion.

Thanks guys for all the info. I personaly think i like the idea of having all motor and no blower myself but i dont want to take motors out or total rebuilds either to get there. i like turning wrenches but never went to deep into motor work like bottom end stuff or anything like that. i liek stuff that can be done in the driveway in like a weekend time. Also dont want to spend a ton of money. i think a little under 300 at the rear wheels would be sweet on all motor. what type of stuff getts you to around that for power motor only. Oh ya all i have on the car is a magnaflow cat back and i love it.
