I keep "thinking" of ordering stuff, but i never end up doing it because i want so much stuff. I have $5500 saved up and its just burning a hole in my pocket. I don't wanna just spend it all right now incase of emergencies, but it would be nice to treat the car to something special? Right now i have a 2002 GT 5speed with roush short throw, 17"chrome dd bullits w/nitto 555rs , mrt offroad h w/raven mufflers, tinted windows. What should i treat the car too. Im thinking of spending roughly $1500.

 

weellll go to mph and buy a mongoose kit! 4900 shipped, and ull have 600 for an emergency just supercharge it and be done!

well, if boost is a no, then get some LT's and gears.

 

screw that, if u have the money NOW dont waste your time on that stuff, do it right now so your not kicking yourself in the *** over it later.

 

+1 on LT's, new mid-pipe and gears. Your car will feel like a totally different car.

 

i would love to have that boost now, but i have too many other things goin on to drop $5000 on a blower. id like to do some other stuff 1st. Ive been researching the gears. i think im goin 3.73. About the headers? i would really like to go with shorttubes because of the pain to install longtubes. if its only like 5HP compared to the shorties ill probably get the shorties otherwise i have to buy a new midpipe and have the headache of longtubes. What do you guys think?

then ill probably keep the stock manifolds then. i dont want to have to take off the longtubes whenever something happens to the tranny or clutch replacement. i think that is too much of a headache and ill have to pay someone for the install.

 

If no long tubes, get gears, (Do you have a catback?), DR's, and spend a few hundred on minor cosmetics, like grill delete, chin spoiler, tail light tints, etc.
