BEST SUSPENSION???
well after all the different possibilities i got for stuff to do to make it go faster, im goin to put it on hold. I decided that much power is not good unless i get it to hook up first. I think im goin to start with the supporting mods, then build the motor. I kinda have a goal around 400-500HP by time im done. What kinda suspension mods will i need that i could get now? Right now im at stock height. I want a good street car incase some of you havent seen my previous posts. Im thinking this:
-H&R super sport springs (might be too low) any other suggestions?
-Maximum motorsports c/c plates
-strange engineering shocks/struts
What im looking for now is suggestions towards upper/lower control arms, subframe connectors? stuff like that. Keep in mind that i dont need all out "race equipment" just something to hook me up on the street. thanks guys

What do ya mean by hooking up on he street? Are ya talkin' from a roll or from a dead stop? Atleast "I" need more info about what ya want out of your car before I suggest anything.
IMO, purpose built cars can rarely have thier cake and eat it too. If you want to hook and book, nevermind the soft "street" gear crap. You'll need parts that are track engineering and are close to being in your words "all out race equipment". I see cars out here all the time that have tons of power but not enough suspension mods on them because they want to retain the ride comfort of the car. The result is dangerous overpowerd street cars that can barley shift into third under half power without breaking the tires loose. Personally, I'm not worried about adding "full race parts" to the car because it these GTs ride like dog crap from the factory anyway
sorry code.....i guess i mean alittle of both id say. maybe from a light or a roll. I guess id just need a "mid grade" suspension set up. nothing overkill, but nothing cheap and sh!tty. just something decent.
and yes, comfort isnt really a concern since they do ride like a lumber wagon anyway.

If ya want a cheap effective street/strip set up...here ya go. Fox body 4 cylinder front springs, your stock GT rear sprimgs with the dead coil cut off (use a cut off wheel, not a torch), Strange struts/rear shocks, tubular upper/lower CA's, sub-frame connectors, UPR 4 bolt C/C plates.
