alot of people run this combo, there really isn't much of a difference in performance between brands. check out brenspeed.com to see what this sells for new

He may find it easier to sell his car with the stock TB and plenum, particularly if it'sonly mildly modified. A lot of buyers are turned off by aftermarketperformance mods--I.e. you may be doing him a favour...

BBK isn't a low quailty brand. I have the 70mm BBK T/b and it has served me well for somethinig like 3-4 years now, with no issues. It might not have the bling bling chrome of the accufab etc units, the it has just as good of quailty.

There are no signficant horsepower differences between the brands that I have seen... simply put none of em will make a HUGE difference anyway on anything but a really wild (500+ WHP) setup. I have seen numerous dynos where going from a stock 65 to a aftermarket 75mm t/b only resulted in 2-3 WHP.

I'd offer him the stockers plus $100. If he's smart he knows that if he doesn't take the offer, he will only lose out, as the mods definitely will not add any value. I agree with Cliffy, mods will most likely decrease value.
