Whats the Round about life of a Supercharger??? Say its well taken care of? Just curious How many 1k miles....

 

There's not really a certain time frame. There are too many variables to say. It depends on what the supercharger goes through, how fast it is spun, how much boost its pushing, how often its in boost,how well it's maintained, etc. A superchargershould last as long as the rest of the engine if it's maintained and used right I would think.

CAN i add a question to that question what oil is best used in a motor that cycles thru a vortech is there one with detergents that will harm o rings or any other part of the supercharger or is whats good for your car also as good for your super charger?good question about the supercharger as i have been pondering my self...rogerwilco

 

it all depends on who is driving....if your racing and in the gas all the time it wont last as long as if you baby it...babby it and it will last as long as your engine if not longer!!1
