Default h-pipe, catback, both???

since I seem to be asking a lot of questions on here...whats one or ten more lol?

I am on a rather tight budget so basically would I want to...

A. get an o/r h-pipe, leave the stock exhaust
B. get a catback system, leave stock h-pipe
C. save up and do both

I have the same dilemma, I would save up and do both. I had an 02 GT with just Flowmasters and it sounded sweet, but I also have a friend who has LTs with an X-pipe setup and mufflers on his 00 GT and it sounded bad azzzz! As for the cats or catless I guess that would depend if you have to smog check or not. I'm personally going with the Hi-Flow cats just because some parts of my state require a smog check and if I decide to move...well you get the message.

Ohh I know that SLP has an HI-Flow catted X-pipe setup that comes ready to bolt up to your exiting headers, but can also be reconfigured to bolt up to their LTs when you're ready to upgrade to LTs. Check them out. http://www.americanmuscle.com/slpxc99.html. Do that with a pair of SLP loudmouth IIs, should sound pretty nice and worth a few extra ponies.
