Looking for some troubleshooting tips on my 2000 GT 5 Speed. It has happend a few times recently. When I go out to start the car it will just click, if I cycle the key 1 or 2 times it will start up normally.I checked the battery connections and it has a new battery in it. Thansk for any help.

check your connections at the starter, may be loose, found this on my f150, check amperage at the battery and at the starter
