I am about to order some LM1's but i have a question. I think an X pipe will come in the near future but for now i'm staying with the stock h. My question is, is how do the LM's sound with the stock h? Is it still damn loud?


its either the LM's with x pipe...or flows 40's with o/r h....i just cant decide.

 

LM1's + O/R X will be ridiculously loud. I would go with LM2's if you are getting an O/R X. Will still be loud, but not ridiculous.

 

Yes, at WOT they scream, not too loud though just cruising and idling (with stock h)
With an o/r mid though, they are the loudest, most obnoxious exhaust out there.

Just to give you an idea, at a car show the other day, a guy with LT's, o/r x, and lm1's revved it up to 5k and everyone and i mean everyone immediately went silent and looked at his car.

 

i have LM II's with a catted X, and its pretty damn loud. LM 1s will be pretty loud no matter what.

 

i have lm1's with the stock h pipe and mine are really loud. They break people's necks everywhere i go so i don't see the need to make them any louder. I might in the future but you will be happy with the stock for a while.

 

Thanks for the help guys. Yea my buddy just got LM's with an o/r x and i literally crapped my pants when he revved it up...it was the loudest thing ive heard.

Is there a certain site i should purchase the LM's from? I have found them for as low as $470 shipped. Any cheaper places?

 

i just bought the cans off american muscle and had them welded in

140 shipped

 

friend has LM1s with stock h on his 01 GT and it is loud, louder than my car. if you get LM1s you better have some cats to help muffle it.
