Haha, first mistake was doing it without dropping the kmember. [8D] Atleast ya got it done!

I know what you mean about how loud they are. When we put a new tranny in, test drive was with just the LT's, but not only that we just had an open console, you could literally see down to the road from the drivers seat. Looking on the right angle you could actually see the open header from the drivers seat! When I got on it... it was probably the loudest thing i've ever heard. I thought my ears were going to bleed.

LOL, sweet deal, I love LT's... You decided on what midpipe you are going with? I got an O/R and although I like how loud it is... I kind of wish I went with a catted midpipe.

yeah i got the catted H, my exaust before the LTs was shortie headers, catless X, and LM1s, talk about loud, so now i kinda just want good sound insted of just plain loud, but yeah im keeping my LM1 catback, so even with the catted H it still should be plenty loud

After doing it, was it worth it? I have been thinking about doing longtubes and everytime I decide I'm gonna go ahead with it I hear another horror story. I just want to know if the powergain and sound made it worth the headache.

its a doable job..its just not pleasent at all..very time consuming, make sure when you do it, have some good reliable freinds around and just take your time, when i put my midpipe on today ill be able to note on any felt power gain/sound, right now im driving around with open longtubes so..yeah
