Default Need Tech Advice

I just re-financed my house and got about 200,000 in equity. i found a nice mach 1 with 40,000 miles for 17,000. is the stroke any different on the 4v than my 2v and whats the largest i could bore the motor out to?? i understand that 4V> 3V should i just get a newer GT and work on that? ALSO haha the gt500 factory is out here in vegas, should i get a gt500 and pay an additional 25,000 to upgrade the gt500 to 750hp? would it even be worth it?? give me your guys' advice and opinion. and specifically CODE, are the 5.0's worth it to work on given the amount of funds available. could i make a 5.0 into a 9 second car or is it too much for the 302 thanks guys

So where is the tech part of you postj/k
But I do want to correct you GT500's are NOT made in Vegas they roll down the same assembly line at Auto Alliance in Flat Rock, MI as every other Mustang. The Shelby GT however IS built at AI and than shipped to Vegas for Shelby to turn into a Shelby GT. Sorry I didn't answer you post but I hate bad info getting posted on here

Besides being a very foolish thing to do. Invest your $200k in the stock market for 6 months. Then take what you've made in interest and blow it on your car.And pay back your equitywithdrawl. Unless you're made of money. And with the way interest rates are heading. This couldbe the most expensive upgrade you will ever make.

I simply asked for technical specs cause i didnt find anything on google or yahoo.

Sorry for trying to give someone with such vast resourses as yourself some advice. Most people who "claim" as you do to be on a level only the rest of us pee-ons can onlydream about. Don't need to refinance their "only" home so they can brag about all the moneythey just borrowed. What a joke. You need more than tech advice.

sorry bro, but i dont look down upon people. you want to lecture me about my money and equity when thats WHAT I DO for a living. my "vast" resourses depends entirely on the housing market, which in Las Vegas isnt bad, but isnt as good as it was. Im refinancing to get a lower APR, and take money out cause i need new roofing, however my LTV (loan to value) of the refi will be approximately 70 percent, so ill still have about 15% equity when im done. So if you understood any of that, after some home improvements are done i figured why not have play money. I dont view people based upon their income, only their attitude which in your case youre a piece of sh*t. You want to try to lecture someone about money, make sure you know something about the subject. If you have nothing to comment about the OP, then dont comment at all. Im sorry if i offended you by stating im not an 18 year old spending my money on a sports car, but you came off incredibly rude.

yep. but he doesnt understand a lower apr on a refi = lower monthly payment which i could use since the housing market has gone to sh*t. ugh, i hate it when people try to pretend they know something. you dont refinance rental properties cause you use the income to pay the mortgage company then sell when values go up. IDIOTS!!! anyway.. so how about those bore and stroke numbers... still lookin.. =/

It kinda depends what you want. If you're looking for a 9 sec, all out drag car I'd probably gowith a big block fox mustang. If you're just looking for a fun yet quick car I would go for a 03 cobra. Or if you prefer the 05+ mustang body style then you could start there too. Personally I would give my left leg for a cobra but I do see the appeal of the 05+. They can just be sooooooo sexy.
