Default WILL THESE DR'S BE OK?

So Im plannin on goin to the track here in a couple weeks and I want to do it right, menaing im going to invest in some stickier rear meats. I was considering doing M/T ET Streets (26x10.5-15) on Weld ProStars (15x8) but im not sure if ill break anything. Im having a 31 spline upgrade installed next week but im still not comfortable with the stock clutch. Should I get the M/T Street Radials in a 275/50-15 on the same size ProStars instead? Thanks...

Those M/T ET Street Radials will work great! Have a pair of the same size on the back of the '89 LX with a Kenne Bell. They HOOK up well for a drag radial!

ET Streets are NOT a radial tire. In fact, tubes are recommended for them. You can run without them though.

I've always heard that they're great as well. If you're concerned about breaking stuff, just take it a little easy on your launches. That's where you have by far the greatest chance of doing damage. Same goes for the clutch. Drop it, but don't do it at too high of an RPM.

The other thing to worry about is a flywheel/clutch explosion. That's nothing to to sneeze at!

Are scattershields available for our cars? I haven't heard about this, nor have I looked for them.
