beat an ls1
my friends got a 00 z28 and all he has is 4.10's and an slp cat back and hes the fastest car in our group my friends 02 mustang gt with plenum cai 75mm tb stage 1 cams bbk pulleys 3.73's sct tune by a shop last time they races he has shorty headers catlees x and slp lm1's and eibach lowering springs and a shorty shifter and he jumps on the ls1 from a 30 but once the ls1 slams 3rd its over he pulls like a bitch from a dig same thing mustang out the whole but camaro up top and the camaro had me in the car thats an extra 250 lbs no one in the mustang

but a STOCK ls1 is gonna go 13.5's at WORST....

If the op pulled a 13.9 with stock gears, I fully believe he could hit 13.5ish with the 4.10's, maybe even better.
Not all LS1's are treated and hold up the same. -And thats not even considering drivers.
I believe his story and it is a good kill.
In all seriousness, LS1's, and the whole LSX line up in general is a hell of a motor line up. Beating one isn't impossible, but It definitely takes a decently modded 2V to run with or beat a stock one.
