Valve Covers
Since im unemployed atm... i figued id run up to advanced auto parts tomorrow and grab some engine paint and paint my valve covers... Has anyone taken off there valve covers if so was it difficult? Also did you prep the valve covers before painting IE Sanding them and such? Pics appreciated.

and getting them off isn't too bad

you need a very long extension and a swival. **spelling**
just be sure not to tear those gaskets when you pull them off.

Its very easy to get out. You need to sand them and make sure they are spotless. I even threw mine in the dishwasher (dont tell my wife) to make sure they were clean. Hardest part was taping off the stripes.
