i see everyone talk about the VT cams. how about comp cams? MM&FF seem to love these cams. im looking into getting some. any suggestions?

Either brand is good. I chose to go with VT cams because they do not have any advance ground into their cams. Comp grinds about a 5* advance into their cams, therefore you need to degree them on a stage 2 and 3, so there will be PTV clearance if not degreed. Also, with a PI swap like you have, if your doing PI cams, the PTV issues will be even more of an issue. Either way though, there both respectable companies...

I've got compcams stage2's I think there 268ah, with full pi swap and I was only out 2* on the drivers side with no degree wheel. But I did have to use the cam followers from the 98gt heads so there was no ptv issues.

yeah i went with VT as well, good products for the modular engines, ill take VT over comp all day
