Default Lowering car Price

My local shop. which is the only shop around here in maryland that will do any coustom work. said they will charge 80 dollars hour to install lowering springs. said it would take 3 hours. And if i bought the springs from them the total would be around 400 to 600. If i buy the springs from say ebay or american muscle. there 149. how long does it take to put springs in? ppl told me like 40 mins..

Where are you in MD? right here around annapolis I can name 3 performance shops, but 80/hr is pretty standard around here too. Installing them isn't that hard, but if you have never done it, it will probably take a couple hours.

i would say go for it. it definitely takes some time, but it is worth it. you could put that $240 into some shocks and struts, which i wouldhighly recommend with lowering springs. i had my stock shocks on with my prokit for a little while and it rode horrible.

I'm from Cecil County Maryland. If you want to lower your car I would strongly suggest some high performance shocks and struts and cc plates
