Default 04 GT capabilities

Hello, I'm about to buy an 04 gt, V8, manual tranny. I just want to know how much these engines/drivetrains can handle. I want to supercharge it but dont know when I should expect to upgrade things such as the bottom end, tranny, or rearend. I found a procharger kit that claims 150hp, it includes the s/c, intercooler, all the electronics, and injectors. Didnt know if the gt motor is very reliable with boost or not. This will be my first mustang so please help me enjoy it everyone!

I would say once u get over the 400hp mark you are working towards prob start beefin up your rear end, internals and maybe startstarting to save towards a tranny down the road just in case. But yea man you will enjoy it very much good luck with it and have fun. I wish I had the cash flow for a s/c.

Well going off this forum and another it seems 400-450 is the general conclusion, so what if I throw in some forged internals? And what is a good brand to go with on that, I found this kit but I have no experience in selecting internals for an engine like this so I dont know what is good and whats not. Heres the kit http://www.seanhylandmotorsport.com/...products_id=49 any idea or comments would be helpful. Also, what about the stock valvetrain and intake? how good are they? I'm just trying to get an overall idea of the weak points in this motor, i'm not familiar with it.
