just woundering if anyone else has this same problem. i post in tech board didnt get very many respose. here it is. after i got my 4.10's installed my car will not go past 105 the tach reads about 3500 -3700 ive used the predidtor to remove the speed limiter and still the same thing only going 105. just to add i dont drive like this on the street only to test on the highway. but when i want to go to the track i dont want to be limited to 105. any suggestions. thanks

I have the predator and 4.10's and i'll be the first to say that something ain't right if you're limited to a buck o five (105).Is this your first time playing with the predator or do you have experience with it? If not, find a friend who knows and have them help you out.

 

ive had it for over a year now. the gears are about 3-4 months old. i read there manual and turned off both the limiter on and limiter off. as the manual says to do. when it hit 105 the car seems to have the fuel cut off then back on real quick, quick enough for it to stay at 105.

 

www.diablosport.com and register. Then you can tell the techs there what set up you have and they will give you advice on what to do.

 

just got off the phone with diablo sport. they say that the speedlimiter works but there is another sensor that wont allow the transmision shaft to spin at higher speeds such as when 4.10s are installed. they will send a new tune for free to fix the problem. they are so far very helpful.

hope they fix your problem i dont know what i would do if i could only go 105!!!!!! that sucks !

 

it does still waiting on them sure i wont get the new tune till tommarow so i wont bitch to them till wed. plus after thurs the car is gonna be down gettin ready to install the svt fuel pump and vortech v2 sq supercharger <--------waiting impatiently
