? on Headers!

Right now i have a JLT CAI and the AMerican Thunder cat back exhaust and i want to spend about 500 bucks on headers and 250 maybe 300 on x-pipe w/ or w/o cat what brand should i go with thinking mid or long tube!

500 bucks for LTs is going to put you with either MAC's or non ceramic coated headers. Whatever you do, get ceramic coated ones to prevent rust. I have had mine for years with no problems (BBK).

Depending on what you want. Shorties give more in the mid to high powerband, and long tubes give more low to mid. Long tubes sound nasty but will drag on everything if your car is lowered. If it was me id go with shorties and a full bassani exhaust. Sounds sick, looks good, and flows like crazy.

I'd spend a little extra on the headers and a little less on the mid-pipe. go with longtube headers. just remember that if you go with an o/r X + LT's...it's going to be reallllly loud.
