Best mod for under $200?

RE: Best mod for under $200?
The x-pipe is agood mod but it is illegal. If you live in a state that gives automobile inspections then i would hold off on the x-pipe because they will probably check for the CAT. If they dont inspect in your state then have at it. However, I think you will also have to buy some MIL eliminators (or something like that) to keep the check engine light from coming on. I would also stay away from the gears. They arent that easy to install. Also if you srew around with the gearing you will mess up your gas mileage. If you want to drag your car then change the gears... if you want a performance car then leave the gears alone. If it were me, I would take that $200 put it away and save for a little longer so I could have more money to play around with. Say $500.

Yea I do want a performace car and i guess i could save up more and just get the whole exhaust system...any suggestions on what would sound good and perform the best for the lowest price.
And thanks to everyone that is helping me out....its obvious to everyone I am sure that I know close to nothing about mustangs and performace parts. I just got my car a month ago and just learned how to drive stick a month ago so I am working on it! thanks again.
