I just installed a Hurst shifter in my 2007 Mustang GT and I am very unhappy with it. It is notchy and hard to get from 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th. I callled Hurst and they told me that this is suppose to duplicate the feel back in the 60's and 70's. Well guess what, it is coming out. Can anyone tell me if there is a short-throw shifter out there that will make it easy to shift from 2 to 3 and 4 to 6?

Thanks

Getting ready to dump my Hurst shifter for the TKO. It really does not feel like a short throw. MGW has em' for the TKO's so that is the route I'm gonna take!

No, actually it's better to order direct from them. I've looked around anda few places say 199 plus free shipping, but direct it's 179+8 for shipping! Of course the one I want (TKO 500/600) is 20 beans more[:@]
