You guy's ever hear of an engine that revs higher when you push the clutch in? Mine, when I'm driving "normal" the motor seems to rev a bit when I push in the clutch. If I'm at a stop and rev it the rpm's take a few sec's to come down wtf is that. I replaced all vac. lines, ignition system looks to be in good shape check engine light comes on once an a while but thats due to my o/r H pipe. Please help this is driving me crazy. I think my belt tensioner or idler pully is going bad cuz one of the squeeks loud when its damp outside and the car is cold its not the belt it brand new. Could the tensioner cause the rev prob?

 

My v6 did that never tried to fix it. now with 153k still runs good .idk
