catback, worth it?

Default catback, worth it?

i have short headers and o/r x pipe, but with "stock catback" and i attend to buy an after market(flowmaster) catback, but is the catback worth the money im gonna spend?will i gonna see improve in performance?

Performance? Not really.

The sound makes it worth it, although I am not a fan of flowmaster, it'll be better than stock

theoretically the bigger piping with manderal bends will inclrease the flow of the exhaust gases. you'll see what im talking about when you put your stock one next to the aftermarket one.


but do it for the sound!

catbacks are all about the sound. Mufflers the key component to how it sounds. Get the catback so you can have a complete exhaust set up.

+1 - I've also read studies that show you don't really reap the benefits of power with an exhaust system until you finish it.

I say deffinitly buy the catback. 1: To finish the system and 2: So that it will sound mean as hell. Not to mention better airflow is always a good thing.

that sound good, i was confused about the performance result because many websites said that the catbackwill gain more then 15% performance of the car

You will get better pull on the top end but its mostly for sound. . . . . .
