Gear Poll
Ok same deal here but with gears. Once again maybe this can help newbs decide what to get from the popular consensus. *Please do not post unless you have some experience with gears. Not just someone with stock gears saying that they think 4.10s would be best* What in your opinion is the best all around gear for the average stang owner. . . .
It is really hard to say. Who is the average Mustang driver? What are their driving habits? What do they use the car for? Do they need to drive on the highway all the time? Do they have plans of some sort of F/I? The list goes on, making it impossible to say what the best gear is for the average driver?
That being said, for me, with a N/A car and no plans of F/I; a daily driver with some occasional track use, the ideal gear for me is what I went with: 4.30.

How about just making it a poll of WHAT you have.

I made one not too long ago...

3.90s FTW! JK[sm=bangbang.gif]
For me, 3.73s would be great for the average "driver" car. 4.10s would be too much for that person, but great for the average person with more than3/4 oftheir interest focused on acceleration.
For me, I think 3.90s arethe perfect fit. 3.73s aren't enough, but 4.10s are slightly too much.
