So i finally made it to the track last night(houston raceway)with all my mods and no TUNE. It was a good night for racing and the weather was not to hot. I was hoping to get into the 13's and i DID.

My first run was a 14.163 in the 1/4 with a 2.172 60'
2nd run was a13.934 in the 1/4 with a 2.115 60'
3rd run was a 14.012 in the 1/4 with a 2.124 60'

Now dont know if this will make yall smile but it sure did make me SMILE.I'm hoping with thetune all get in to 13.7's. what do yall think

 

Well hey congrats. Get your tune and maybe some better tires and surely you'll do better.

There's alot more in that car just so you know.

Like you said, for being your first time out with those mods, it's not bad at all really, but with some DR's, and a nice 2.0 launch, better than 13.7's should be your goal.

Good luck though man. Time's are awfully respectable for one of your first runs.

my baby has over 110,000 miles on it.its an auto but i feel likeshe should be faster i don't knowwhats holdingher back. my best 1/8 was a 8.993

 

yeha i have an auto too. do you have high stall torqe converter? btw sainthk, was it hard installing your lightbar?
