I've been playing all day with my automatic belt tensioner.

listen man... if the bearing is shot, it's JUST THE PULLEY... replace it, and that noise will go away, belive me, im becoming an expert at this

however, if you take the whole thing off, and its beginning to seperate at the base where the bracket attaches, THEN you need a whole new assembly.

I just bought the pulley today, quieted that horrid squeel right away.

BUT, it was off lign, and the belt was sitting on teh back of the pulley

so i realized that i had a bent or seperated bracket from the attachment point, and i had to buy a new assembly, which INCLUDES the pulley, so tomorrow, im gonna run teh pulley back in for my 18.01 refund

1st hand experiance for the win!

I paid 55 at autozone, and it included a new pulley.

Make sure you don't offer any more than that.. lol
