ok has anyone personally went from lm1's to lm2's? i know 2s will be deeper and quieter but im wondering how much, right now my exhaust is starting to get annoying, its too loud and raspy. i want to get the lm2's. Where can i find just the mufflers at? i can only find them sold seperatly at rpm outlet and i dont want to go through them lol

in that vid you can here my exhast when i was driving away i was shifting at 2k at 2200 it get really loud and raspy trying to eliminate that some, at 1 min 16 seconds u can hear the exhaust and also at 6:57 you can hear me getting on it a little and that sounds good but normal driving is to raspy

 

they sound like you actually have mufflers on the car! Try ebay, I think I seen just the mufflers for $140/pair

I went from lm1's to 2's with my catted h. I switched for the same reasons you mentioned, it was too loud and too raspy. The 2's are alot quieter but still relativley loud and have a deeper tone, as mentioned before. I have about 200 miles on the 2's so they're not fully broken in yet. I can't decide which I like better. The 2's also drone a bit, not badly, but enough to annoy me. I'm really contemplating(sp?) putting the 1's back on though, for some reason I miss them. I'd say just get the 2's and decide for yourself, if you don't get the 2's you'll always wonder what they'd sound like.

I think its sounds fine, although I would having full exhasut with the LM1's, KEEP IT

 

i like my 2's, they arnt as loud and i guess there more deep than the 1's. i get complements wherever i go. my car still is pretty loud, i think it sounds way better now than it did with the cats on.

 

I've heard mixed opinions from everyone, right nowI have a bassani offroad x and I'm 95% I'm going with the LM1's.
