waste of money! Does not give the number they say, well it does but only at like 7k rpm which your car will never see! Spend your money on some LT's or something useful

That is what my birdie told me. I think i am just going to do the little things like gears, headers, high flow cats, and catback flowmaster or dynomax, and possibly a tuner. Any recs on the various parts listed i.e. stay one company, or mix and match these....... ??

Ohh yeah!!! If you don't have O/R pipe or high flow cats (not muh dif in hp 2 or 3) you will notice huge difference compared to your stock exhaust. Just adding a high flow midpipe will let yuour car breath better and give you 15hp more. I would stay away from shorty headers. They are a waste of money especially for the pain it is to install them. mufflers is all personal preference. They will net you the same gains. MAC or BBK for headers and mid-pipe. Stay away from pre-programmed tuners unless you want silly thing like raising speed limitor or if you have an automatic it might be worth it for shift pattern. T/B and MAF are waste of money (t/b will just give you a smidgen better in throttle response. Not worth it for $250..imo Get the U/D pullies and a cold air intake kit(steeda makes both of these). Get a mid-pipeand catback. You will be vey hapy and money well spent!

got a CAI already had to go a little custom with it just a colored one for the paint match but surprisingly enough it actually gave me 13HP gain i had it put on the dyno and it ran out 273hp/310tq so i was happy. other than that everything else is going to plus HP gains. thanks for the advice.

13 HP from a CAI.. dyno'd at 273 and 310.... lmao... should i rip into this guy??

id edit your comment ASAP... dyno tunes dont measure power to the crank.. they do it to the wheels... and on a stock GT automatic thats about 220 and 225 for a 5 speed give or take.

theres a nasty thread on the same topic going on in the tech forum..

the low down from what ive heard and seen.. (though i saw the aftermath not it actually happen)

is on nitrous applications, there is a design flaw with the typhoon.. the ends of it dont seal correctly and it can blow out a gasket.

and FTR.. 90 percent of all aftermarket intakes are meant for higher powerbands.

I've been pouring the 56N jet through my Typhoon. No problems here.
