Most 03/04 Cobra's dyno in the low 370's stock with less than 10k miles on them. Surprisingly they open up even more around the 15-20k mark and it's not unusual for stock 03/04's to touch 380+ in stock form.

These motors are built with tight tolerances & over time they loosen up and come alive.

 

2.8" pully with atune and you should be putting about 430 to the wheels with everything else stock!

 

haha nahh my dad wont be driving it more than me at all. my dad owns a 2007 shelby gt500. its white with blue stripes. he wants me to get a cobra so we can both have snakes. dannng!!! just a pulley and tune can put out that much more power?!

 

It adds quite a bit of boost.

just slap a whipple 2.3l with the stock pully my buddy is making 17lbs and pushed 575 at the wheels. the only other things he has are a acufab tb, midpipe,catback and bbk cai. this thing scoots.

with those basic mods... that put me at 466 rwhp and 489 rwtq. So yes, 03/04 cobra respond well to your basic bolt-ons.

 

03-04 cobra FTW. IMO the very first thing i would do and haven't done yet, is the exhaust. midpipe and catback. i would dyno it first to see what you have and then start the mods to see the improvement you've made. +1 on pulley and tune those are later mods for me. i have payments[:@]
