Alright some of you might remember my dumb friend with the 96 GT Converitble who he was trying to blow up. Well he came to his senses and was a car dealer today real small. Owener says he will trade either a 94,95,96,97,98, Cobra. Each Cobra has around 96000 miles and is all stock. He wants his 96 GT Converitble which paint is near perfect , 18s chip foose, tinted windows and Flowmaster exguste. has 86000 miles. Should he trade? what should he watch out for ? Thanks

 

I remember reading that thread, I guess if he must have a different car, I would get the 98 cobra.

Anything eles to watch out for, i mean i was with him today this dealer seemed kinda shady and dumb, he said it was a 98 cobra then i asked wat was up with the taillights they were the 5.0 style then he open the hood it was supercharted but was a 5.0. and i looked on the inside of the car it said 1995. He wanted 14000 for 90,000 dollar Cobra supercharged and paint wass horrible. Are the 94 cobra and up good ?

14k $ for a cobra w/ more than 90k miles. since its supercharged, tell your buddy that lowers the value, seeing that it would not last as long as a stock cobra. 94-98 cobras shouldn't be more than 10k $. IMO w/ decent mileage. so dont hurry yourselfs up in finding one. theres always gonna be the right one for him. and tell him to take care of it.

 

so you think its werid the dealer is willing to trade a 94 and up Stock CObra for a GT with a few things done to it?
